Hoang Lien Son has 30kms of wide and 180kms of length towards to North West – South East, lies between Lao Cai province and Lai Chau province and reaches to the West of Yen Bai province.
This is the last of Ai Lao, at the end of South East Himalaya. There are a lot of mountains which have the 2800m of height, among those Panxipan peak with the 3143m (some documents said it is 3.142m), the highest one in Indo-China. Besides, Ta Phin and Pu Luong have the height nearly 3000m. There are 2 main forests in Hoang Lien Son.
Paxipan is the highest peak in Vietnam, is considered as Indochina house proof. Sapa town is at the bellows of the mountain, and 1500m height above level sea. There are 4 seasons in a day, is an ideal tourist site for travellers
